This two bed cottage is in an idyllic rural location with breath-taking views. Walk through fields onto a footpath down to the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water or uphill to the drama of Monsal Head. Please note - bathroom refurbishment completed March 2026. The Coach House will still offer one full family bathroom for guests to share (with sink, loo, shower-over-bath). The new en-suite ‘dressing room’ will contain a sink, toilet and vanity area but it no longer has a separate shower.

Willow Sett Cottage is the perfect comfortable stay for two. You’ll be centrally located in the Hayfield preservation area with easy access to local amenities and spectacular Peak District walks. Our 200 year old spacious one bed cottage offers all mod coms, including king size bed with 100% eco bedding. The modern bathroom offers combined bath/shower. The kitchen is well equipped and leads out to an outdoor balcony with views. The cosy living room offers plenty of seating, Smart TV and a fire.

The setting of this cosy detached cottage is beautiful and feels secluded, yet the village of Edale is 1 minute walk away. From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking. A folder in the cottage has a selection of maps, which you are welcome to use and choose a route straight from the door. A traditional 2 bedroom cottage located close to the canal in the village of Buxworth, on the border of the Peak District. Both bedrooms have double beds, one of which can be converted into a twin, making it ideal for a family. There is a small courtyard, for early morning coffee, with a secure out-building, for storing muddy boots or bicycles. Fabulous position for walking and cycling whilst being close to public transport, Chinley and Whaley Bridge train station are both close by.
