It is nestled in the mountains along beautiful Lake Chatuge and has been recently remodeled. Sorry no pets are allowed. Features: 3 king sized beds, 3 large double vanity bathrooms, queen sleeper sofa, sleeps 8, living areas upstairs and down with TV's, large kitchen and dining area, laundry room, fireplace and dock provided with boat slip. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Relax listening to the creek and waterfall. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are less than 10 minutes from downtown Clayton. The charming city has shops, coffee, restaurants, a brewery and Wander North Georgia. Explore a bit farther out to Tallulah Gorge, Black Rock Mountain, Lake Burton and Tiger. Cabin has 1 bedroom and a loft with more beds. Full kitchen and laundry. Mountain House Rental at the Lake

This is a four season vacation spot. Create your own memories in the western North Carolina mountains by Lake Chatuge! Enjoy great hiking, boating, fishing, and much more! Take advantage of the hiking and biking on the Jack Rabbit Mountain trails along the shores by Lake Chatuge. Winter discounts available from January 1 until March 31. OPTIONAL MINI COTTAGE (for a third bedroom that sleeps 2) with Queen sized bed and TV but no extra bathroom for an extra $25 per night plus $25 cleaning.

The Extra House

We have a comfortable Extra House we call it. Extra cozy extra cute Extra House. The house is right on the Tallulah River in Towns County. There is fishing/swimming hole about 100 ' up river and a waterfall up a trail behind the Big House about a 30 minute hike up and back. Longer if you jump in the falls. Trout fishing out the door and 6 miles of fishing along the main road. We have a 250' zipline into a swiming pond or get off before the water. Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls.

Our Lake house is located on Lake Chatuge in a quite secluded neighborhood in the beautiful North Georgia mountain town of Hiawassee. We are on the lake with an accessible deep water dock. This house offers lots of cozy indoor and outdoor space with plenty of seating, including covered seating areas off of each king room, a large open deck, a lower deck, fire pit, and covered patio next to water. Welcome to "Patty's Place", a quiet retreat, where you can escape the hustle and bustle to relax reading a book near the creek or spend a rainy day playing games or a puzzle inside. Our place in Hiawassee is close to Lake Chatuge, Brasstown Bald, the Appalachian Trail, and Bell Mountain for outdoor experiences and only a 20 mile drive into Helen's Alpine Village. A percentage of all proceeds are donated to Alzheimer's support programs honoring the legacy of my mother, Patty.

Nearby: golf, horseback riding, tubing, rafting, biking, off roading, antiquing, wineries, breweries, and pristine Lake Chatuge where you can swim, fish, rent a boat, jet ski, kayak, paddle board, or play on the inflatable obstacle course! The cabin is a 3/2.5 and sleeps up to 9 people in super comfy beds!
