Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Originally built as a carriage house in 1820 along with the adjoining stone home and a second stone building originally used as an out kitchen. This rustic cottage has been tastefully modernized and has a queen sized bed, full size refrigerator/freezer, gas range, large screen TV, heat pump that supplies air conditioning and heat, lots of hot water in shower. Ten acres of land surround you, close to the entrance of Lake Raystown. Plenty room to park a boat, or set up an additional tent. Enjoy the peaceful oasis as you rest relax in nature. This a-frame home has a beautiful back yard with fire pit and chairs. As you enter you walk into an open floor plan with the bathroom to your right, queen size bed, roku tv, wifi, fold down futon fur the second bed, small kitchen with a washer and dryer. Linens provided, full size refrigerator.

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.
