The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

Zeekoegat Historical Homestead

Take a step back in time and sleep in a historical monument built in 1795 on this exquisite piece of farm property that has been lovingly restored. We practice regenerative farming and encourage biodiversity. This is a place to relax, reconnect and recharge. It is our happy place where we embrace all forms of wildlife and love our menagerie of domestic pets from pigs to turkeys to horses and lots of dogs. Not for you if you don’t like animals, if you do it’s paradise . WiFi in the garden only.

Bronze Grove Farm - River Indlu

At Bronze Grove Farm and Chalets we encourage you to wonder around and absorb the natural earthy pleasures of farm life. The farm is situated at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountain Range and incorporates part of the famous Tradouw Pass and is 3 kms from the quaint little village of Barrydale. We are a working farm concentrating on olives. We hand harvest and produce extra virgin cold pressed olive oil and bottled olives. We have introduced zebra and various antelope that roam freely.

Les Wings Private Game Farm

Come make memories at the Ostrich Cottage on our off- the -grid lifestyle farm. This is a unique and secluded place where you can relax, reload and have the best of both worlds. Spend the day at the beach (15 min drive) and an evening around the bonfire or go fishing in the morning and watch zebra's & buffaloes while you sip your wine in the hot tub on your private deck. The cottage is basic, newly renovated and sleeps 2 adults and max 3 children in 2 open rooms. Enjoy this hidden gem!

You might spot roaming Blue and Gold Wildebeest. Situated 18km (9km dirt road) from the picturesque coastal town, Stilbaai.

Our Studio Unit is perfect for a couple or a couple with a small child. It has a double bed and a small sleeper couch. Waterryk Guest Farm is 6km from Stilbaai Town, with beautiful views of the river. You’ll love Waterryk because of the quietness and being able to enjoy nature. Getting woken up by roosters. You will struggle to find a better nights sleep anywhere.. Waterryk is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids).

Nestled in behind a small, picturesque olive grove a little further up the hill & offers beautiful views of the river & surrounding farmland. The riverfront is accessible from the cottages by taking a short stroll few hundred yards sloping down through the vines & olive orchards. 2 Bedrooms, bathroom, open plan kitchen,lounge and dining area. Marshall Farm is a traditional thatch family-friendly farmhouse in Vermaaklikheid. The farmhouse is 30 yards from the river, and has an enchanting beautiful wind free outdoor lounge area on a jetty connecting you to the river. The Duiwenshok River is one of the Overberg’s best kept secrets, approximately 3,5 hours from the bustle of Cape Town, this delightful hideaway is seemingly untouched by the hand of time.

All off the grid with no Eskom, no wi-fi, no tv. Only solar for lights, gas for hot water, stove and fridge/freezer. Wood for barbecue and fireplace.
