The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. A traditional stone cottage, formerly the coach house and groom's flat to Austwick Hall, set above the village in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales. The cottage sits at the entrance to Austwick Hall and has access to it's gardens and private woodland with it's sculpture trail.

Front garden to sit and enjoy the views of Pen-y-ghent, or enjoy breakfast in bed with the view. Please note we are a dog friendly cottage. We take great care in our cleaning after each guest yet sometimes a few hairs can still be around.
