Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

It provides an ideal base to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire including; Howarth, the home of the Brontes, Halifax, including the Piece Hall and Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister and the Pennine Way.

From the property the centre of Hebden Bridge with all it’s many attractions is just 3/4 of a mile walk (although be prepared for a steep hill) If you want the countryside then it’s on your doorstep, a few yards puts you in the Colden Valley with it’s rich industrial history and fabulous views.
