North Country Cottage

This beautiful, recently renovated home is out in the country down a dead-end road, but still only a few miles from the town of Ladysmith. It is about a mile from a little county park on the Dairyland Reservoir, only a few miles from the local golf course, and just down the road from hopping on the snowmobile trail in the winter. Relax with family and friends at a Northwoods retreat. The cabin is a newer build at the end of a quiet road near the start line for the Prince Haakon cross country ski race. It can accommodate large groups with as many as 12 in the cabin on beds and pull out furniture (plus a bunkhouse). Connect to CAMBA mountain bike and American Birkebeiner Nordic ski trails from the front door, through private trails and the Mosquito Brook trailhead. If you are staying in Hayward for the Birkie its a 15 minute walk to the bridge over Hwy 63 to watch the skiers then just a few more minutes more to the finish line. And with on site parking you have that problem solved

Our cozy, updated, one-bedroom cottage in Northwestern Wisconsin is the perfect place from which to launch your Northwoods adventures. It is located very close to several lakes and rivers which are great for boating, kayaking, and fishing. The home is within a few miles from several highways that lead to all the adventures that northwestern Wisconsin has to offer.

Serene Retreat In The Woods of Hayward

Escape to the Northwoods of Wisconsin. This is a quiet, peaceful place to stay. The house is set in the woods with deer strolling through the property. There is access to snowmobile trails 9 and 15 and plenty of truck and trailer parking. Round Lake and other area lakes are nearby for ice fishing. We are about 5 miles from the Birkie trail parking and access.
