A unique mid-terraced country cottage set in beautiful farmland. This bright, spacious and well-equipped cottage is dog-friendly and includes space for bikes. Enjoy the large, fully fenced garden - a peaceful, private spot perfect for relaxing in tranquil surroundings. The cosy living room features a wood-burning stove, enhancing the warm cottage atmosphere. Christmas decorations go up the first week of December but can be arranged earlier on request. Romantic Medieval Castle

Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

The accomodation is centraly located near to the Town Hall, very close to the High Street with walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. Book a minimun of 3 night to receive a basket of snacks. Book 7 night or more to receive a breakfast pack and a bowl of fresh fruits.

Situated on a working farm a mile from the town of Selkirk makes Highfield an ideal base to explore. Highfield commands an elevated position giving panoramic views of Selkirk and the surrounding hills. Situated on The Borders Abbey Way there is easy access to excellent walking and cycling routes. For the more adventurous we are a short drive to great mountain biking routes at Innerleithen and Peebles. Melrose & Tweedbank railway station is a 10 min drive, Edinburgh is just under an hour away.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, 2 can be superking doubles or twins, 1 king double and 1 twin. There are 2 bathrooms upstairs and a shower room downstairs.

Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
