Kaiaua getaway - our home is yours

Nau mai haere mai - we welcome you to our house in beautiful Kaiaua. Enough room and space for the whole family, including the dogs. Super king bed for extra room, and the kids will love the bunks. Stroll a few metres to the beach and enjoy the peaceful sea air and a swim. Grab your daily coffee at the awesome Pink Shop along with a few goodies. Gas garage has other supplies you might need. Hit the Rail Trail if you’re a keen biker and enjoy the area. Our space is yours.

The Blue Bach

The Bach is light, modern, comfortable, within walking distance of beach and village. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down over the hills, stroll a few hundred metres to the golden sand beach, or across the common to the village for coffee and shopping. There is unlimited fibre internet, ducted air conditioning and heating, and linen and bath-towels are provided. Please bring your own beach-towels. Maximum occupancy is 4 guest. No smoking, camping, or events.

Opoutere Oasis

Get out of Town and enjoy the huge sunny section with private access to a beautiful river for swimming & Kayaking. Just a short drive to three stunning white sand beaches and Whangamata Town. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Linen is NOT included for this property so be sure to check beds for sheet sizes. This is a 1940's character cottage please do not expect five star accommodation. Please note your cleaning fee is for an inspection not cleaning.

Waitawheta Cottage

Our whimsical cottage is perched near the top of the tranquil Waitawheta Valley at the gateway into the Northern Kaimai Ranges. Enjoy river swimming and hiking right from the property or just relax on the deck and enjoy the beauty of the valley. 5 minute drive to the Hauraki Rail Trail and the award-winning Falls Retreat restaurant. 10 minutes drive into the heart of the Karangahake Gorge and Waihi and 15 minutes through to Paeroa or out to Waihi Beach.

Homewood Cottage

Homewood cottage is situated in a private garden behind the main homestead “Homewood”. Homewood was built in 1876 by Dr Thomas Fletcher and was the original farm house in the area. The cottage was built in the early 1900s when the property was owned by George Alley a well known philanthropist. Guests can enjoy the private lawn and garden around the cottage, and wander down the hedgerow to the pond overlooking the Tauranga harbour.

Appledowns - Cozy Workmans Cottage.

Appledowns is a 100 year old 'workmans' cottage, situated on an acre, in the heart of Waihi. The cottage is nestled in amongst mature oak trees and surrounded by various Camellia's, Dogwoods and fruiting trees. In amongst it all there are two courtyards, one to relax in the morning sun while sipping your coffee and the other to enjoy your dinner, surrounded by iceberg roses, beside a cozy brick fireplace.
