From the comfort of your camp chair, a private river’s edge deck offers views of the river and the mountains. For privacy, the area is gated and fenced in. Parking is available for up to two vehicles.

Arkose Ridge Log Cabin, Peaceful, Mountain View!

Alaskan log cabin retreat, This cabin is on our 5 acre parcel with one other rental and our home, and is in a semi-private setting, that is bordered by State land, offering miles of walking, hiking, snow mobiling, and cross country skiing. Our son and his wife built their hom in 2005, lived there for 16 years, with 5 children. Needless to say they have moved to a larger home! Arkose Ridge Cabin is cozy and quiet, and is very accessable to many of Matanuska Susitna Valley's attractions!

It is truly magical to soak outdoors under the night sky in the privacy of your own hot tub.

Our Cabin is located close to Hatchers Pass Recreation Area, a short drive to Palmer, and a slightly longer drive to Wasilla. We're close to activities including downhill skiing at Skeetawk ski resort, cross country skiing, mountain biking, hiking, ATV/off roading and exploring local Hatchers Pass Recreation area which includes its historical gold mine. After a long day having fun and exploring what this area has to offer, take a short drive back to your warm cabin and relax.

Beautiful new log cabin that's perfect for families or small groups. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. It has a large great room with a spacious kitchen and dining area on one side and a living area on the other. This cabin has beautiful views of Pioneer Peak and surrounding mountains. It's very close to many recreational opportunities including hiking, biking, fishing, 4 wheeling etc. It's 40 minutes from Anchorage. Washer and dryer in cabin. No pets please.
