Welcome to the historical Perth area. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our rural setting, close to amenities but surrounded by the sounds of the countryside. Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. Enjoy the beauty of South Frontenac from the quiet comfort + modern luxury of our lakeside cabin. Located in Eastern Ontario’s cottage country, our cabin is nestled on a small, peaceful lake 15 minutes west of Westport, Ontario. This space is ideal for 1-2 adults. This newly renovated cabin sits on a shared 3-acre property with our family’s lake house. This home-away-from-home has been in our family for 17 years + we’re thrilled to share a piece of our paradise with you.

Our cottage is the perfect place to relax with family or a few friends, and enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is very private and you will have the entire property and cottage to yourself. it’s the perfect peaceful hideaway. The cottage is warm and cozy with gorgeous views of cranberry lake Our place is Great for nature walks, biking, swimming and enjoying the outdoors. Also for fishing/ice fishing and snowmobiling trails are close by.

The Sheldon Manor, a slice of Canadian history, is a heritage home built in 1865 with sandstone quarried from the land. The home exudes timeless elegance with its sandstone exterior, wraparound porch and stately sitting rooms. The property boasts modern comforts including a hot tub, heated pool, fire pit and vineyard. Rich in history, the manor offers serenity on its sprawling 4.5 acre lot, beckoning guests to explore its enchanting charm.

Chaffey's Lock Canal-View Cottage

Nesled among the white pines, this cozy 3 bdrm cottage is just steps from the UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal. Excellent swimming, fishing, paddling, cycling and hiking. A 2-3 min walk to the water and to the general store, Brown's Marina, Lockmaster Museum, the Cataraqui Trail, Dorothy's Lodge and the Opinicon Resort. Your host also operates Rideau Tours and offers bike, kayak, canoe and stand-up paddleboard rentals onsite.
