Just 10 miles from the Lake District National Park, it makes an ideal base from which to explore this stunning region.

A perfect place to enjoy the peace and solitude of the lovely Cumbria and Lake District landscape.

Welcome to The Artist’s Loft a light, open plan apartment in the centre of Kendal with two king size bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms. Perfect for couples and families. This is the perfect accommodation for couples who want privacy in their own self-contained living space. The Homestead Lodge has a open plan living/ kitchen area with a real log burner, TV, DVD player, radio, strong WIFI, sofa, microwave, kettle and cutlery. There is a separate bedroom with a very comfortable double bed, wardrobe, vanity/desk space . The bathroom has a large walk in luxury shower, toilet, butler sink, cupboard and mirror. The Lodge also has on-site private secure parking.

The Hide Lodge is a stylish space, designed with relaxing and retreating in mind. It is cosy and warm with underfloor heating. The open plan lounge and living area has full width bi-fold doors, which allows the space to be fully opened up to feel like part of the woodland beyond. The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

The space The studio, is set within a newly converted barn, with its own entrance on the quiet edge of the Lake District, a few steps from a wood-fired sauna and a wild swimming pool. Modern, serene and quietly luxurious, perfect for a couple or up to three friends as a mini retreat. It can also comfortably accommodate a family of four. A twin double bed, a sofa bed, a dining area, a deep bath in the en-suite bathroom, light cooking facilities., parking and easy access into the Lakes.

Traditional shepherd's hut with views to Skiddaw

The hut is set in the middle of a family farm, forget about your busy lives and sit back and relax in this peaceful location ideal for a romantic retreat, with views up the Lorton valley ,cozy up into front of the wood burning stove and plan your adventure for the next day. The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. A breakfast hamper will be delivered to your door in the morning

The Vale of Lorton is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of the Lakes, ranging from the flat farmland and Gem town of Cockermouth at one end to the rugged mountains and Buttermere at the other. The tranquil setting of The Spinney, above the River Cocker, with spectacular views over to Whinlatter, is an ideal location to explore the North Western Lakes. Set in two acres of mature trees, gardens and river frontage, with lots of wildlife.
