The Hillside Cottage is a curated space to reset, reflect, and unwind. A place to spend your days strolling the beach, fishing along the pier, sipping craft beer, or enjoying a meal at one of the many great local restaurants. Located just blocks off the water, our 1920s era cottage is nestled within the historic Lakeside neighborhood of Muskegon. A quick walk to grab ice cream, and just a bit further to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Best of all, the beach is just a five minute drive away.

The perfect place to escape to nature and serenity as you relax in front of the wood stove in our cozy cottage! under 3 minutes from Saugatuck Dunes State park, which leads to Lake Michigan (a 5 minute bike ride). 5 minutes from Downtown Saugatuck and all kinds of local shops, restaurants, and entertainment! 10-15 minutes from Holland for enjoying annual festivals such as Tulip Time or Girlfriends' weekend Downtown! Our cozy, yet spacious cottage has everything for a relaxing getaway - lots of individual areas to retreat to and loads of lounging/seating space for groups to connect inside and out. There are board games, three large TVs with Netflix and cable, a firepit, grill, fully stocked kitchen, etc. Outdoor activities nearby: mountain biking, road biking, running on paved paths directly in front of the house, hiking and more!. This house is 3k sq ft (we host a 4k sq ft. space nearby, "Haven Woods").

Our charming bungalow is located walking distance from downtown Muskegon and Muskegon Lake. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood setting while being close to all of the action that downtown has to offer. Breweries, restaurants, shopping, and the farmers market all await. If downtown isn’t your scene, the bungalow is a quick drive to Pere Marquette beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. Large, uncrowded stretches of sandy beach are the perfect place for a relaxing day in the sun.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION ! This historic home is in the epicenter of everything going on in downtown Holland. From the front porch you can overlook the farmer’s market every Wednesday and Saturday. Turning to the right you can see Hopcat, the new movie theater, and several other brand new shops, breweries, and restaurants all within a few steps. Extra cleaning procedures with antibacterial cleaning products have been added due to COVID-19.
