Lake Effect is a gorgeous, completely remodeled three bedroom, two bath, beach home with expansive sunset views of Lake Michigan, N. Manitou and S. Fox Island. Our home has a chef quality, fully stocked kitchen with stainless appliances and granite. There is a wood stove and a beach fire pit. A very large deck runs the length of the home with a wood walkway to your own private sandy beach. Wood floors, tempurpedic beds and high quality finishes with luxurious bedding make your get away perfect!

Waterfront Cottage with Covered Boat Slip

We offer a covered boat slip. Peaceful & secluded, yet walking distance from town. Full kitchen w/dishwasher, Keurig, W& D. Please note that this is a place for those that love outdoors & has no air conditioning, wi-fi or cable. Verizon & AT&T in area. Fire pit outside. We are pet friendly but we've had a few instances that have resulted in us having to adopt a pet policy & pet fee. We charge $25/night, per pet, max of $250. Upon booking, call us & we will send policy form & collect payment.

Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek, a one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

We have played off the beautiful water colors of the bay in our decor. Like our other unit next door, we have included everything we can to make sure our guests are taken care of and feel right at home. We have 2 queen beds and 2 single fold up beds. We do accept pets ($25 flat fee) but certain breeds are not allowed. Please see “other things” for a list. This is a manufactured home in a manufactured home community. The unit has been completely remodeled and is magical! You will love it!
