The cottage and garden are for your use, there is a large area of lawn and grass all around the cottage. An ideal location for exploring the rich history of Scotland and to enjoy nature with lochs, beaches, forests and rivers nearby.

This historic property was the home of Scottish explorer James Augustus Grant. Bliss cottage was added to the big house for the men to enjoy their after dinner whiskey and smoke. With 3 acres of private garden to use as your own, a picnic bench and other seating areas scattered around the grounds. You may have to share the garden with many different animals and birds who tend to treat it as their own too, Squirrels being the main guests! Inverness - 11 mile/Nairn - 5.8 miles/Cawdor - 4 miles/Ardersier - 2.8 miles

Kinkell cottage is quite simply, perfect. A special, romantic one bed cottage that holds so much character and charm, guests never want to leave. The property sits at the foot of Kinkell Castle, an enchanting building that has been lovingly restored, making it a view in itself to enjoy while sipping on your morning cuppa from the front of the cottage. While the castle is close, it's un-intrusive and the cottage feels incredibly private.
