Dacha is also a place to reconnect with friends and family and share quality time with those you love. The location is right on Daylesford lake Our family has owned this property since the late 1960’s. Originally it was a humble miners cottage. My wife, Rosemary and I renovated the house in 2012 and tried to preserve the original charm and character

The Barn at Weatherboard

Set among an abundant and lively garden, The Barn is our fully detached, unique guest house. The building was originally a fully functional blue stone farm barn but since owning the property we have converted the space into an open plan house, complete with kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside remains in its original state while the inside has been decorated with a collection of artwork and objects from our travels overseas.

Our 2 bedroom Art Deco home is spacious and light filled, warm and cosy. It is furnished in that era with most modern amenities. It is a 2 minute walk to the Wendouree train station. A 3 minute stroll to the Botanical Gardens and Lake Wendouree. Shopping and eateries are close by, a 5 minute walk to Stockland Wendouree one way and the Howitt shopping strip the other. Ballarat Central and all it has to offer is easily accessible by bus, train or taxi.
