Appletree Cottage is a cosy, bright, newly built cottage on a quiet back road in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has four en-suite bedrooms and biomass heating throughout. The spacious open-plan living area has underfloor heating and large picture windows offer stunning views south, across open countryside. Situated a small apple farm, Appletree is perfectly located for walking, golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, riding, wildlife spotting and the local village cafe.

In a secluded rural setting, our home and garden is within reach of Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, West Coast, Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh. Cosy pubs and restaurants, wonderful walking, castles, whisky distilleries, quaint villages... Come back to a real log fire and enjoy the big traditional farmhouse kitchen. There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!

Fa'side Cottage is a detached house on the grounds of Fa'side House on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland. Located to the south of Glasgow the house is within walking distance to amenities in Newton Mearns. With 12 acres of beautiful gardens and surrounding land to enjoy, the cottage is secluded with views of the Campsies and much of Glasgow. Glasgow city centre is 15 minutes by car. The cottage is also handily located for those seeking to explore Ayrshire.

This small terraced cottage is in the friendly village of Thornhill, a scenically short drive from the hiking, walking and biking trails of the Trossachs. Within the village there is small path network and two commons for evening strolls. Thornhill is perfectly located to explore Stirling, Callander, Doune and the surrounding countryside, including Blairdrummond Safari Park. The village boasts a fabulous pub/restaurant serving good food and chatty locals.

The Wash House: a Cosy Romantic Countryside Escape

The Wash House is a beautiful, cosy cottage adjacent to a charming Schoolhouse built in 1857. This space was once the schools laundry facility. Character has been retained in this beautiful modern space. Our little slice of paradise is at the gate way to the highlands and 5 minutes from doune ( for those Outlander fans). It is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding area or even as a stop over on route to the highlands.

Country village cottage.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

This traditional 18th-century detached gatehouse is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It offers an ideal holiday base to relax or explore the surrounding area. Situated close to the city of Glasgow, Peel Lodge is only 20 mins by train from the city centre, 30 miles away is Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Ayrshire. Edinburgh and Stirling can be reached in an hour. Shop, pub/restaurant 1 mile.
