Cute family cabin .2 miles from Alyeska Day Lodge and lifts. Walk to skiing in the winter or hike up Mount Alyeska to the tram in the summer. Walkable to local restaurants and shops. This is a family cabin with a cozy feel and an upstairs and a downstairs unit, both of which may be rented. This is for the upstairs unit, with a full bathroom, three bedrooms with two queen and two full beds, and a full kitchen. Add extra kids by contacting the host. Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Step outside and you're already on the mountain, with easy access to skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. Start your day with breakfast downstairs at The Bake Shop, spend the day exploring the mountain or town, and then unwind at either the Sitzmark or Jack Sprat while enjoying great food and drinks!

Hope H.U.B. Have. U. Been?

The beautiful community of Hope is a two hour drive from Anchorage. Hope HUB offers summer and winter trails for hiking, biking and skiing. PILOTS: the runway is a 10 minute walk, tie down the saucer and ride our community beater bikes into town for food and music. The Hope HUB has great views of the surrounding mountains on both sides. Use our outdoor fire pit, stocked with wood. Meet Wally our resident walrus and enjoy a truly extraterrestrial experience.
