There is a flights of stairs, (22 steps), down to the Red Room. Only 1,2 km to town (15 min walk), yet secluded and surrounded by dense greenery on the edge of a nature reserve of bush land. Comfortable and cosy. Stay at this beautiful bungalow with terrific views of Mt Buller. It's a short walk to the main street of Mansfield with lots of cafes, pubs, restaurants and shopping. My husband and I live on the property in the main house and can be of assistance if needed but otherwise you'll be left to yourselves to soak up the views and enjoy the fire pit with a hot or cold beverage of your choice. We provide some breakfast supplies, milk and tea and coffee.

This cottage, named Alice Harding after the well known peony cultivar, is set amongst an established garden with oaks, Japanese maples, liquid ambers, claret ash and tulip trees.
