Dog friendly Little Appleby is located in Egerton, rural Kent, the Garden of England. We are well placed for the tunnel with Folkestone, Le Shuttle 20 miles away. Egerton adjacent to Pluckley boasts many lovely country walks with huge Dering woods walkable from the listing and the villages of Goudhurst and Sissinghurst within 20 minutes. By car, Rye, Canterbury & Whitstable are within 40 minutes Ashford Designer outlet is 25 minutes away. The dog friendly restaurant and pub is a 5 minute walk.

The triple glazed cottage provides comfortable accommodation and is just over an hour away from SE London by car, or by train straight into Teynham station from London Victoria, (1 hr 6m). We are 10 mins walk from Teynham railway station. Faversham & Sittingbourne are 10 minutes away. We have released all availabilty through to end of December 2026

Cosy spacious barn ideal for exploring Kent

Nunfield Barn is a beautifully converted barn and one portion of the house is internally separated for our Airbnb guests, with its own entrance, downstairs toilet, kitchen/dining area and living room with doors leading to a private patio. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower. There is an above ground pool for use in summer, a front garden shared with us when we are here. There are fields &orchards across the road and we are 15 minute drive to Leeds Castle

Cosy Rural Retreat with Log Burner

The Snuggery is a converted outbuilding that has been set up for a cosy stay with a wood burning stove and lots of snuggly wraps to cuddle up in. The open plan interior, high vaulted ceilings and natural oak flooring create an interior which is fun, light and airy. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy walks from the back door straight on to the North Downs Way and there is a bench by the front door fitted with a heated element, perfect for warming up your walking boots. 'Cottage in the Wood' contains two double bedrooms one with en-suite bath/shower and one with shower room along with a sheltered hot tub taking advantage of the rolling Kent countryside with extensive views over the local Vineyards and North Downs beyond.
