Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the authentic rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level unit with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and bathroom. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. There is No Kitchen. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally. It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Visit the cats anytime between the hours of 9am-9pm on the days you are booked! Marley and Teddy are the resident cats there and they will keep you company! Newly constructed studio apartment above our garage. Calm, cozy and sunny interior in a quiet neighborhood setting. We have only lived in Fairmont a short time and we love it! It has a "Hallmark" town feel. You may meet our Labradoodle in the backyard - she is very friendly and will want to say Hi. We look forward to hosting you in this city of 5 Lakes! The Grainery started off as just that, an old grainery on the family farm. It was moved, added onto and recreated into a unique vacation rental nestled along the woods of the Sleepy Eye Creek. Location offers scenic views, access to a fire pit, hammock and patio with grill. Located just outside of Sleepy Eye, MN. Not far from New Ulm, MN.
