This spacious, comfortable, and modern private home features two queen bedrooms, a living room, and a full bathroom. The property also boasts dedicated off-street parking, a full kitchen with microwave full-size, refrigerator and freezer, free wi-fi, and Smart TVs throughout. Also included is a private front porch, common greenspace with lawn chairs, and a dog-park. An ocean beach, several restaurants, a general store, and a specialty wine and cheese shop are within easy walking distance.

Our beachfront home is good for families and pets, with open plan, private bedrooms and an enclosed deck. The beach is perfect for cookouts, walking and exploring. We are nestled down a long gravel drive with quiet neighbors. The main floor bedroom (queen bed) accesses a screened sitting area. The downstairs bedroom (walkout basement) has twin beds and futon chair (single). We are 5 miles from the village, 2.5 miles from Acadia Visitor Center, and .5 miles from an Explorer stop.

A wall of glass faces 3 mountains. Home is located 200’ from the Donnell Pond Rd and offers access to the Downeaster Rails to Trails for Atv’s. Donnell Pond offers great kayaking,boating ,swimming and fishing. Great sand beaches surrounded by the mountains you see from the house.

Daylily Cabin

Experience the peace and quiet of a private house less than two miles from Acadia National Park! Daylily Lane is the perfect location so close to Acadia but away from the crowds of downtown Bar Harbor. During the summer and early fall, we prefer Sunday to Sunday rentals but allow shorter stays in the late fall and spring. We also are open to longer stays such as multiple weeks, month-long or more. Please message us if you’re interested in a longer stay.

Located about a 1/4 from groomed X-country ski trails. Thank you for considering the Hideaway for you stay. The house is well equipped for your comfort. Located near the Hulls Cove park entrance and beach. The calendar does reflect availability, please believe the calendar, if it won't let you book the dates you are looking for that does mean it is not available. We are dog friendly, however we do not accept cats for allergic reasons.

Take the local ferry to MDI to explore Bar harbor’s restaurants and shops, or stay local and enjoy the less traveled side of Acadia National Park, Schoodic Pennisula (5-10 minute drive).
