Plaasstoep is an intimate self-catering cottage, nestled on a smallholding just outside the city limits of Bloemfontein. It features two bedrooms that can sleep four guests in total, a full bathroom, and a kitchen. Enjoy the beautiful Free State veld from the farm-style stoep, with a braaier. Our farm cottage is situated on the Drakensberg escarpment overlooking the valleys of Van Reenen’s Pass. This farm stay 4 sleeper unit is fully equipped with all you will need to live, work or get happy. Hiking, fishing, strolling, swimming, bike riding and hanging out on the farm is what we offer. We are load shedding resistant with WiFi during the shedding but we have lovely candles and fireplaces for your entertainment… Bring a book, a journal or an easel and come and enjoy.

Peach Trees Cottage Clarens

A beautiful cottage surrounded by peach trees and mountains - is situated in a secluded corner of Clarens, Free State, South Africa. Peach Trees offers accommodation for two people in quiet surroundings, amazing views, while being close to the village centre. The cottage has a gas hob, under counter fridge, and ample space for cooking and braaing and a wood burning fireplace. There is a desk and free WIFI for those who may need to work or connect while away from home.

This unique place has a style all its own. One bedroom en-suite apartment joined to a main house with self catering facilities. The living area is heated by a wood burning fire place and the bedroom en-suite has an air conditioner. Braai facilities on site as well as a Smart TV with DSTV and WiFi. Two to three kms from the centre of town, on a mountain side. It is the bottom level of a three storey house but completely private and not affected by loadshedding.

Our Cottage is one of three units situated on a prime location, walking distance from the square, and right next to the hiking trails. Our cottage offers 1 bedroom with a double bed, fully equipped kitchenette, lounge area with sleeper couch and outdoor seating area. You are welcome to bring your pets along by prior arrangement as the back area of the cottage has its own fenced off little garden where your pets can play freely. Pet fee = R200 for cleaning
