Welcome to Shepherd's Rest, our bespoke shepherd's hut located in the peaceful Hamlet of Foy, 10 minutes from the market town of Ross-on-Wye, in the beautiful Wye Valley. Outside, relax on the spacious private deck and admire the stunning views of the River Wye. Inside, Shepherd's Rest has a comfy double bed, sofa, foldaway dining area, modern en-suite shower room with flushing toilet and a log-burner, perfect for those cold winter's evenings. A great location for exploring our fantastic county!

Cosy Cabin w/Hot Tub, Cold Plunge + Fireplace

Stay at 'White House Hideaway' - a romantic off-grid cabin with hot tub and cold plunge. Tucked away on our peaceful family farm in the Wye Valley, it's perfect for couples wanting to slow down and reconnect. Enjoy sweeping countryside views and your own wood-fired tub under the stars. Cosy up by the wood burner or toast marshmallows on the firepit. The River Wye is on the farm, so you can book wild swimming, SUP, canoeing, or guided foraging. Fully booked? The Annex at The Oaks

The Annex is a separate building on two floors. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. There is a kingsize bed and a sofa bed available. We do provide extra laundry for the sofa bed at a cost of £15. Please let me know if you require the sofa bed making up. To access the bedroom are external stairs. Downstairs is a great open plan living space. There is private parking. Ross town is a mile away. PLEASE NOTE: the Annexe is next to a busy main road and traffic can be heard from the Annexe.

Peaceful Stone Cottage among fabulous gardens

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

There is a woodburner in the lounge for those chilly winter nights. There is a private court yard where you can sit outside, listen and see the surrounding wildlife including Red Deer, Red Kites and Barn Owls to name a few . The Tree House at Hansnett Farm

You will find this idyllic and cosy retreat nestled between two 150-year-old Oak trees on our small working family farm in rural Herefordshire. 'Abode' at Wellsbrook Barn - A peaceful and relaxing one bedroom, dog friendly, private annexe near to the market town of Ross-on-Wye with parking and a gate for dog security. We are surrounded by lovely walks and lots to discover including the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Hay-on-Wye, Symonds Yat and many other beautiful places. Paddle boarding, cycling and canoeing are within easy reach. Close by is the village pub, The Yew Tree, with its very own cider shop just next door.

On the edge of The Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, this cosy getaway is a professionally converted and exquisitely decorated annex to our main property. This conversion was completed in 2022. PLEASE NOTE... You are welcome to use the woodburner during the summer months (May - Sept inclusive) but I do not supply firewood during this period. Please bring your own supplies of firelighters, kindling and logs if you would like an inside fire during the summer.
