Canoe and kayak rentals available nearby or bring your own and take them out on my riverfront property. Walk or ride your bike on the rails to trails 3 mile walkway to Foxburg or go much further on other trails in Emlenton. Explore my 39 acres of woods with deer, fox, wild turkeys, bear, etc. Explore the four old logging paths.

Spring is the perfect season to enjoy the serene environment of the retreat. The view of the farm fields and valley are coming alive! Relax in the hottub and an occasional siting of a soaring eagle is quite possible. Our newly remodeled home is located at the top corner of our ‘working’ farm.

Cozy quiet retreat

We live upstairs in a contemporary style house built in 2000 1 new Queen sized bed Queen sized air mattress if needed upon request We will have some small snacks and drinks provided for you upon arrival . The kitchen is fully stocked with anything for your cooking or baking needs. We are a quiet living family but as we are upstairs there may be some noise. However we go to bed early 😊

River Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We have great access to canoeing, Stand up Paddle boarding, and fishing with amazing views of the Allegheny River. If you are adventurous a rails to trials bike trail is directly across the River. 20 minutes will get you to the Foxburgh INN. A wonderful restaurant on the Allegheny river with outdoor dining and great food.
