The sprawling homestay has 2 bedrooms (Both Airconditioned) which can accomodate 6 pax (Two extra beds will be provided for the extra two guests) is close to Kochi and has a touch of Kerala peeking through its decor. The 1920s styled retro staircase is a beautiful blast from the past. Tastefully done bedrooms with poster beds, wooden furniture and elegant wallpaper decors, adds a touch of royalty to the ambience.

If the lone bathroom is insufficient, feel free to use the ground floor bath room. Explore all the nearby sights on foot as they are just a stroll away. With a quite beach, beautiful lanes and Chapels it is ideal for a calm and relaxed holiday. It is in the heritage zone of 'Our Lady of Hope Church' (built 1604 AD). It's our Little cottage which we built as our vacation home. A short 5 min ferry ride takes you into the heart of Fort Kochi ,with it's historic places and restaurants all within walking distance .

Mylanthra House is approved and licensed as DIAMOND GRADE since 2005 by the Kerala Tourism department. It is an 85-year-old traditional Bungalow located in Kochi at the bank of Vembanad Lake. This Diamond-graded homestay is built of Plinthite blocks and plastered with lime. Its roofs and floors are covered with old clay tiles & have a wooden ceiling all over. This traditional construction keeps the bungalow cool.
