Warm and cosy, with full central heating, the lodge is an all year round destination for cyclists, walkers and nature enthusiasts. Uninterrupted views of the Wye Valley, where you can catch sight of birds of prey, including the beautiful red kites who can often be seen hovering over the fields on the farm.

The Welsh Gatehouse is a beautiful historic house with modern amenities. Imagine staying in a fairy tale castle built in 1270. The thick walls, ancient windows & steep spiral staircase say 'history'. A 100-year old, semi detached cottage, set in the beautiful Oak woodlands of the Cannop Valley Nature Reserve. The family Cycle trail, XC trail, Enduro trail, DH trail and Pedalabikeaway Cycle Hire Centre are only 100 metres from the cottage. Cycle storage is available at the Cottage. Beechenhurst Lodge Picnic site, the Sculpture trail and the scenic Cannop Ponds are a short woodland walk away. Woodside Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests and is pet friendly with a large enclosed garden.
