When it is chilly, draw the curtains and light the wood burner. Quiet and peaceful yet 2 minutes' drive from a great village which has two super pubs. 5 miles from beaches and 3 minutes' drive to the wonderful New Forest. Bring your dogs & horse too! Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated in the heart of the New Forest. Walk out of the gate into a beautiful oasis of breathtaking scenery where the animals roam free . Great for walkers and photographers etc I can do silk painting experience if you would like too. Also can teach machine embroidery - see pictures at the end for ideas - it is very simple to do I promise. I charge 20.00 for a session which includes materials

A warm welcome to our riverside cottage, a two bedroom quiet retreat located in the New Forest national park with lovely walks and cycle paths to see the ponies and other wildlife. It’s only a 20 min drive to the medieval city of Salisbury and 30-40 min drive to the sandy beaches of the South Coast. We have a friendly local village shop and pub within walking distance, and a fabulous ‘water-hole’ for swimming a few mins walk down the lane.
