The Lookout - dream, hide, explore

Calling all explorers, dreamers and creatives! Come for a quick retreat or stay to write that book. The lookout was built by owner Rob himself over ten years. There is thought and love behind every little detail. The house isn't perfect, there is raw wood, some things aren't finished, the furniture is vintage and may appear worn but if you look past that, you will find that everything there has its own story and that this house is made for the big things: sunrises, ocean dreaming and full-moons

Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

We, Rob, Stacey, Isla & our playful dogs Betsy & Benji would love to welcome you to our cozy, sunlit garden cottage. A perfect spot to rest after exploring what Cape Town has to offer. We love the proximity our home has to fun Fish Hoek beach and local shops and are happy to share tips, potentially tours, of the surrounding attractions if guests don't mind Rob's booming personality and improv skills! That said, if peace and quiet is all you're looking for, we are more than happy to accommodate!

UPS to power WiFi during load shedding. Ten-minute walk to Fish Hoek beach and shops, or a short hike up Elsie's Peak (TMNP) with a 360 deg view.

Kalk Bay Hamster House

A beautiful one-bedroom apartment in the picturesque town of Kalk Bay. An amazing space if you are on holiday or a business trip. Situated 25m from the main road and walking distance from many delicious restaurants. This apartment has its own fully functioning kitchen with everything you will need to cook up a storm or you could order food and sit by the fire for an evening in. It also has its own private courtyard with shutter doors that can be opened all the way to invite the outside in.

Romantic Studio Apartment above Fish Hoek beach

Perfect for couples, this romantic, brightly decorated apartment has a beach view balcony with table, chairs and a hammock. It also includes an en suite shower and toilet, Queen size bed, living room and a fully equipped kitchenette. We have a solar panel system to circumvent load-shedding. Free carport parking, wi fi and DSTV Compact is included, and there is a laundry service provided at reasonable prices. There are three flights of stairs from street level down to the apartment.

The Sky Cabin Misty Cliffs

Experience one of the most pristine stretches of the south peninsula coastline from our laidback house.

 

The upstairs offers spectacular ocean views with a big open plan bathroom. Downstairs is the perfect setting for dinners around the dining table leading onto the open plan kitchen. The downstairs double bedrooms share a bathroom and the front bedroom has beautiful sea views. While the downstairs deck is great for sundowners. Situated 45 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre.

The Carved Rock-Entire studio

With it's contemporary design, rock-rustic features incorporated with stunning elevated views of the Fish Hoek area and modern amenities, the Carved rock provides a tranquil, earthy grounding sensation that brings about comfort and relaxation to all guests. Special thought had gone into the process of accommodating each guest for either business or leisure. This listing is located on a quiet secluded gravel road on a mountain and not ideal for those who demand fast conveniences.

Open plan living, dining and kitchen area leading out to a generous balcony.
