Known historically as the slate capital of the world, Blaenau Ffestiniog is in the heart of the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), surrounded by rugged mountains, lakes and hiking and biking trails. It is also ideal for visiting Betws-y-Coed, Portmeirion, Porthmadog & the Conwy Valley. Close to the Zip World attractions in Blaenau Untethered EV charging available payable on Monta app.

Blaenau Ffestiniog was designated a UNESCO world heritage site in August 2021.

Recently renovated house located in a traditional Welsh village of Dolwyddelan. Large living space with bi-fold doors onto the patio area where you can spend your evening stargazing in the luxurious wooden hot-tub or enjoy a glass of wine in front of the log burner. Ideally located for hiking up mountains, the longest zip line in Europe, Forrest coaster, quarry carting or mountain bike trails. Betws-y-coed is a 10 mins drive or 2 train stops away for shops & dining. Dogs welcome.

Cae Canol Bach provides a lovely romantic get away. Situated on the lower slopes of the Manod mountain you will be surrounded by spectacular views of the valleys flowing towards the sea. This cosy hideaway offers a galleried mezzanine bedroom above an open plan spacious living area with wood burning stove, kitchen and shower room. We allow up to 3 well behaved pets who are NOT tempted by sheep. A 4x4 is required between October and April and recommended between April and October.

Our 18th century cottage is nestled beneath low hills in Cwm Pennant, a quiet, beautiful valley in the heart of Eryri National Park. Sitting off the road, our only neighbours are sheep and cows - an ancient church across a river is the only building in sight. The cottage is as cosy and comfortable on the inside as it is historic and beautiful on the outside - perfect whatever the season.
