Whether it be vineyards, cafes and boutique shops you are after or bike trails, exploring the local lakes and landscape it’s all on your doorstep. There is good 4G cell-phone coverage. Set on a 2000sqm section with lovely established trees & pretty flowers, the property has a country feel whilst being conveniently close to shops, restaurants, transport, SH2 to Wellington, and a short walk to the train. There is abundant bird life, and occasionally chickens stroll through the property. With sun galore, you'll enjoy the warm second living room (or 4th bedroom) at the rear which opens up to the sunny deck.

Wake up to birdsong, star-gaze from the outside bath while listening to the call of the Ruru. Loll by the pool or borrow the bikes to go exploring. Free breakfast of good coffee, homemade muesli & fruit, artisan bread and spreads. Free-range eggs & bacon available for you to cook for $25 pp. Drive on parking, heat pump, wifi & tv.

Greytown has become a Mecca for boutique shopping and has some great restaurants & cafes. We are a 15min drive from Martinborough full of wineries & olive groves The Brambles is a lovingly restored 1800's building converted into a small cottage in a peaceful setting, It has great indoor outdoor flow to a private BBQ area, in the cottage kitchen there is a microwave, electric hotplates, a Nespresso machine with some coffee pods & fresh farm eggs

Cosy Cabin ~outdoor bath~stars~donkeys

Our self-contained, double-glazed, fully insulated compact cabin is well appointed. It stands alone on our lifestyle property, private from our house with fabulous views to the Remutakas. There is an outdoor covered BBQ area. Relax in the ~bath~ under the stars. We have a small dog (Lucy), sweet barky Huntaway (Ruby), donkeys (Phoebe, Anna & Lily) & August (cat). All very friendly. One small fur baby allowed. Please advise when booking.
