Just under 10 minutes from Fairlie, 40 min from Lake Tekapo and only 1.5 hr from MT Cook, is our super cute historic Farmers cottage. Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

Beautiful native trees and birdsong surround your own peaceful, private, and quiet cottage and gardens. We have a star gazing area where you will be awed by the clear sky and see the Milky Way and all the constellations. Our Retreat Cottage is very well equipped with everything you need, including a 3 pin EV charging port. Your hosts, Drew and Sally, will meet you and show you around their small farm including cows, chickens and native birds, and browse the large vegetable gardens and orchard.

1930's Carriage, microwave, electric jug, toaster, cutlery, crockery, fridge, heating, TV , double bed, electric blanket, it is a 30 metre walk to seperate shared bathroom and shower room. Small basic shared kitchen facilities and coin operated laundry available. Lovely private deck with seating, free wifi. Linen, towels, shampoo and conditioner are included. Due to the location of the Gullie on the property and as a courtesy to other guests we can not accept bookings requiring a late check in.

Bedeshurst bnb is a cosy, private studio unit which is situated on our farm under the foothills of the Southern Alps, in the South Island of NZ. We are in the countryside, an 8-10 minute drive from the small town of Fairlie on a gravel/shingle no-exit road. We live in a beautiful, quiet part of the country and the unit has amazing views across our farm and to the mountains beyond. Our farm has great walking and biking tracks, so if this interests you then please just ask.

Come and enjoy a stay on our beautiful lavender and olive farm, with breathtaking mountain views. The Barn has 1 queen-sized bed, 1 sofa bed and private bathroom. Welcome to our cosy & unique space. Our custom made shepherd's hut has all the amenities required for a comfortable nights stay along with a COMPLIMENTARY continental breakfast and extra treats also 12.00 checkout. We are the gateway to the Mackenzie Country with a 25 minute drive to Lake Tekapo featuring hot pools, scenic flights, Church of the Good Shepherd, 3 local ski fields and our famous night sky reserve. Mount Cook is a 1 1/2 hour scenic trip.

Country Cabin

The warm and cosy cabin is a self contained unit detached from the main house, with BBQ, private deck and restful native garden. You will have your own access/key and off road parking. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.
