Family Beach Cottage

Third generation family cottage with beach, private hot tub on the deck and amazing views of Tomales Bay. The gravel frontage road leading from State Route 1 to the Beach Cottage was once part of the narrow gauge railroad that took vacationers, farm animals and lumber up and down the coast from 1871 to 1930. If you need more space, you can also book our Rustic Beach Cottage, which is directly next door and offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, as well as its own outdoor hot tub and fabulous bay view.

Plan a special dinner, indulging in our homegrown Angus beef and breakfast with farm fresh eggs, enjoy various games and a peaceful evening under the stars. Awaken to the sounds of birds singing and take in the breathtaking views the ranch provides. 45 min from SF, 15 min from Point Reyes and 16 miles from the beach.

Keep life simple at this peaceful and centrally-located in-Law unit in the Deer Park neighborhood. Apartment includes a fully furnished large living room with spacious bathroom, and one bedroom with queen sized bed, private deck overlooking San Anselmo creek, yet less than 4 min. stroll to downtown Fairfax. Great for short term or long term stays with mini-kitchen furnished with hot plates, air fryer, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Secure bike storage available upon request.

Looking for a healthy dose of tranquility and adventure at your doorstep? Over 100 steps from the road below, this 'treehouse' is perched above it all and horizontally oriented on a steep lot between two creeks. The all glass façade creates dramatic views of the redwoods, Mt. Tam and across downtown Mill Valley to Blithedale Ridge. Anchored to granite the house sits on handmade stone walls from rock harvested on the property during construction in the 1960s. Truly a one of a kind stay.

This is a very quiet neighborhood apartment, but only a 10 minute walk away from downtown San Rafael. 25 minutes from San Francisco and Sonoma too. We do live above.
