It's a 20-minute drive to Saranac Lake and 35 minutes to Lake Placid. It's recommended to have your own vehicle or rental to best enjoy the Adirondacks. Because of its size taxis are expensive and an Uber may take some time to reach you. If you're flying in, the nearest airport, SLK, is 15 minutes away.

Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. A queen bed, linens, towels, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, single burner cook plate, dishes, utensils, glassware, pots & pans, toaster & coffee maker. Roku Tv & dvd player with movies. The cabin's bathroom is simular to a cruise ship, you step up into your shower. There is also a summer outdoor shower and a fire pit with an attached grill. We have a garden area & privacy fence between our home & the cabin.
