“Casa Molenga” is a retreat to reset. With an amazing sea view, a pool and terraces so you can enjoy the portuguese sun, in the middle of Nature.  With its timeless style, Casa Molenga is located in the North of Portugal, between Porto (20 min') and Aveiro (20 min'), a land of traditions and hospitality. This is a place to be in touch with Nature, to enjoy the natural beaches and amazing activities. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. Also you'll find all the kitchen utensils as well as salt, olive oil, vinegar, coffee, tea, water, sugar, crackers, etc. You'll also have available cleaning products. Bathrooms with towels, toilet paper, toiletries (such as shower gel, shampoo), hair dryer and first aid pack. 2 living rooms, TV, a beautiful calming reading nook with sea view. The private pool area has deck chairs and we provide pool towels. You can prepare a delicious barbecue while you enjoy a cocktail watching the sunset from our terraces. There is a sofa bed suitable for children and one of the bedrooms has an extra bed for one child (under request). There is also available a travel baby cot. Sometimes the grass may be shorter or longer, depending on the time of year, weather conditions and the schedule of stays that may make it impossible for a gardener to come in. Free Wi-Fi connection. Casa da Encosta

The house is located 19km from Porto and 28km from the airport. It emerges on a hill in front of one of the most beautiful bends on the Douro river. You can enjoy not only the house, but also the terrace overlooking the river, the lush gardens around it, the pool area and also 2 barbecue areas. With 3 bedrooms, it can accommodate up to 6 people. If you want to explore the property, there are also areas where we grow crops or fruit trees, do not hesitate to help yourself to some fresh fruits!

The first time I saw this house inside, I immediately fell in love with it! It's a typical house from the Porto region from the 1st half of the XX century, straight and tall (high ceilings), symmetric, with a long, large corridor throughout the house. Rooms have 2 doors, closing towards each other, resulting in a very pleasant feeling of space when both doors are open. It feels like you're living in an open space, but with walls and rooms. You should try it yourself to get the feeling!
