Tyn Y Benrhos is a stunning Welsh stone cottage situated in its own grounds, in Coed Y Brenin forest, near Dolgellau. You have access to the entire property, with enclosed garden for up to 2 dogs and 8 acres of fields, woodlands and a river to explore. Here you are perfectly located for an active holiday whether it be walking, running or cycling. If you just want to relax there is plenty of opportunity to do that too. We do not live on site but live about 20 mins away and are on hand if needed.

Hafod Y Llan Bach - a real escape to the country

Get away from the everyday with a break in the mountains of Wales. This private, detached barn conversion has it's own terrace, a wonderful open plan kitchen living room and a glamorous and romantic bedroom with an ensuite. Step outside and there are over 25 miles of forestry track starting from the front door and the 4.5 mile long Alwen Reservoir just 5 minutes walk away. If you're just looking to relax, it's perfect for couples who want to enjoy the stunning views of Y Garn and the tranquility of Rhyd Ddu with it's tea shop and local pub serving great food, within walking distance.

This 18th century cottage, with mountain views, in a UNESCO World Heritage site is central to the whole of Eryri ( Snowdonia) with its breathtaking scenery. Close to the Llechwedd Zip World and also walkers paradise . A stroll from the cottage takes you into the Celtic rain forest and waterfalls, or a more energetic route up the Manod Mountains opposite to the lonely and beautiful Llyn Manod. Recently renovated house located in a traditional Welsh village of Dolwyddelan. Large living space with bi-fold doors onto the patio area where you can spend your evening stargazing in the luxurious wooden hot-tub or enjoy a glass of wine in front of the log burner. Ideally located for hiking up mountains, the longest zip line in Europe, Forrest coaster, quarry carting or mountain bike trails. Betws-y-coed is a 10 mins drive or 2 train stops away for shops & dining. Dogs welcome.

Cae Canol Bach provides a lovely romantic get away. Situated on the lower slopes of the Manod mountain you will be surrounded by spectacular views of the valleys flowing towards the sea. This cosy hideaway offers a galleried mezzanine bedroom above an open plan spacious living area with wood burning stove, kitchen and shower room. We allow up to 3 well behaved pets who are NOT tempted by sheep. A 4x4 is required between October and April and recommended between April and October.

A fabulous spot to explore the many treasures of the peninsula.

I invite you to use my lovely house to enjoy Harlech and the surrounding area. On the edge of a small estate, the house overlooks farmland and has views of mountains in the distance. The Welsh Coastal Path runs behind the garden. There's wifi and Sky TV. Cleaning, bed linen and towels are all part of the service; I just ask guests to enjoy the house with care.
