Located in Ely, the entryway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Cabin is centrally located to all of the BWCA entry points. Direct access to Prospector Loop ATV Trail system, and Trezona Bike Trail System. Every stay of two nights or more comes with complimentary Kevlar Canoe of their choice and free routing services to BWCA points of interest. Located on the very edge of Ely, enjoy a north woods setting with smalltown convinces, restaurants, shops and attractions all within walking distance.

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.

Our dog friendly home sits on 12 acres of wooded land and we have 150 feet of rocky shoreline across the road. We are a 10 minute drive from downtown Ely on Shagawa lake.

Wolf Cabin at Wilderness Wind

We are asking our guests to bring their own sheets and pillow cases. Thank you for your understanding. Wolf Cabin is Wilderness Wind's smallest and most secluded cabin on the shore of Lake Armstrong. This adorable one bedroom cabin with kitchenette and kitchen table is at the end of the road and is quiet and private but has access to all the amenities of the Wilderness Wind resort.
