Relax in this peaceful location. Hemingbrough is a small village with easy access to York, Leeds and Hull. The village has a pub which is within easy walking distance as well as local shops. There is a farmshop nearby which sells good Yorkshire produce to take away and also has a restaurant. York is 20 minutes away with its impressive Minster and other attractions including 2 theaters. A number of historic houses are close by which makes the Annexe a perfect base for exploring the local area.

York is 20 min by car. Country Houses , Sledmere, Castle Howard and Burton Agnes are all within a 30 minute drive. Family/ friends, Male or Female groups welcome. A max of 2 dogs which are chargable.

Just 8 miles from the beautiful city of York, Riccall contains everything you might want for your break: restaurant, pubs, takeaway, Post Office and shop but is also a perfect base for very easy access to York; buses leave from the end of the road every 15 minutes, driving is very quick and easy + Riccall is even on a gorgeous cycle/walking track to York.

This is our family home which is yours to use whilst we are away. It would suit a large family or two families coming together for a weekend away or holiday. Guests are welcome to use the trampoline and climbing frame in the garden, the gym and office space. There are also toys and books to suit a range of ages. One of the double bedrooms with ensuite is downstairs which would also suit families coming with elderly or less mobile relatives. Our home is 20-30 minutes outside of York.

The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.
