A cozy, newly refurbished home on our family farm located in Northern Southland - 10 minutes out of Lumsden and just 30 minutes from Gore; the trout fishing capital of NZ. Queenstown, Te Anau and the stunning Catlin's coast are all within 2 hours drive.

The Waihopai Suite

The Waihopai suite is a lovely rural escape at the edge of Invercargill. Your unit is attached to our home but very private. Situated at Millton Park Estate, boasting vast established gardens and a large pond. Wake up to a garden view with wondering ducks, bunnies and the sound of native birdsong. Enjoy private access, free parking, quality bedding, ensuite, TV, wardrobe and kitchenette facilities (not a full kitchen). Feel free to explore the surrounding grounds and gardens while you are here

Your family/group will be close to the city centre, parks and restaurants when you stay at this brand new, centrally located home. Located in a private back section, an open plan home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and double garage. A fully equipped kitchen, including a Nespresso machine. Large deck with ample seating, including outdoor beanbags. Lots of modern features including a smart TV & bluetooth speaker. Note - The house is newly completed and the driveway is in progress but useable

Ringaringa Beach Cottage, comfortable whole house

Very quiet location with a welcome to overseas and New Zealand visitors. Families welcome but parents are asked to remember that although the road has little traffic, the property is not fenced. We have the greatest sea views, plenty of land and pelagic birds to spot with many simple and more challenging walks available, very like New Zealand used to be. Whare manu, boutique cottage.

Whare manu is a private, self contained boutique cottage that is solar powered. Set back into native bush with views of the sea and beach, which is only a minutes stroll away. Watch the Tui's and Bellbirds feed on the sculpted bird feeder right on the deck. Designed for couples to relax, unwind and enjoy. No children please. If you would like your stay to include the 24 Dec please contact us, we can open for you, there are no checkouts on 25 Dec & a min 2 night stay. This is a unique place.

Relaxing rural retreat on the town boundary

Relax and unwind in your own private guest suite and enjoy the rural views. With its own entrance and lock box you can arrive when it suits. The property is in a convenient location, just a 6 minute drive from the town centre with a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurant, dairy, take away and pub within a 3 minute drive. There is ample off road parking that can accommodate larger vehicles, horse floats, boats and trailers etc. The airport is 9k away and Oreti Beach just a little further along.

A warm & cosy 3 bedroom house perfect for your Catlins adventures. Sit out on one of the two decks and enjoy a glass of wine taking in the stunning view down the Catlins estuary and out to Owaka heads. Drive times to local attractions: Jacks Bay Blowhole - 10mins Surat beach - 5mins Owaka -3mins Pounawea - 5mins Nuggets Point Lighthouse - 30mins Purakanui falls - 15mins Papatowai Lost Gypsy - 30mins My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Beautiful 4 bedroom house on the beach at Horseshoe Bay. Stunning views. Huge lounge, with a conservatory, overlooking the beach. Courtesy transfers Please note heating is now by a heat pump, which makes the house cosy warm. Huge deck with a large BBQ. This house is a great place to have a family holiday, with heaps of room for the kids. Please be aware that the cell phone coverage is only Telecom, 027 and can be patchy at the house. Charming self contained studio on Herbert Street, in the northern suburbs of Invercargill, renovated with style, comfort and an emphasis on cleanliness. Please note breakfast is not provided, although we do have a few treats for our guests. Peter & I live next door and happy to help with queries etc. Just a few minutes from the Windsor shops, including New World. The main shops are only 10 minutes away, as is most of Invercargill!
