Ons huisje staat in één van de mooiste Waterlandse dorpen, Broek in Waterland. Het bevindt zich in een prachtige omgeving, op 8 km van Amsterdam. Op 3 minuten lopen afstand vind je de bushalte, waardoor je binnen 12 minuten op Amsterdam Centraal staat. Het gastenverblijf zelf biedt alles wat je tijdens een vakantie nodig hebt. In ons gastenverblijf is het dus heerlijk 'thuiskomen' na bijvoorbeeld een drukke dag in de stad, of bijvoorbeeld een fietstocht langs alle leuke dorpjes hier in de buurt.

Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located characteristic place. You are in the countryside, in a rural area. You can walk to the lake (Markermeer) and have a swim. There are some restaurants, the famous cheese-market and you can rent a boat to see Edam through te canals. You can visit beautiful old villages near by on our bikes. In twenty kilometers you are in Amsterdam city. There is a very good connection by bus, it takes twenty minutes. A comfortable chance to visit the museums.

Het Huisje: bank, eettafel met 2 stoelen. Keuken met toebehoren. Badkamer: toilet,douche wastafel. 2 pers bed 160x210. Klimaatcontrol, smart TV, Wifi. Zelfvoorzienend dmv zonnepanelen. Terras: 2 lounge stoelen en een bistroset. Carpoort voor parkeren auto en fietsen. Wandel/fietsroutes en diverse horeca.

Enjoy our unique accommodation in a beautiful location with a fantastic view. You can enjoy the peace, the water and the view here. Our floating chalet has a lot of glassware so that you retain the unobstructed view. You are close to Amsterdam, Volendam and Monnickendam. Enough activity in the area, so that you can decide for yourself whether you want to enjoy the peace and quiet or seek out the hustle and bustle. There is a terrace and a floating balcony. There is also parking at the chalet.

One minute from the bus station in Edam. 20 minutes from city center Amsterdam, in a safe, causy, quite and child-friendly neighbourhood. Also a 100 mteres from the known Edam cheese markets. From here: visit most of the Netherlands within 2 hours drive. Perfect for a family with one or two children. You will be renting the whole house, with garden. Bathtub in a fully niew bathroom ! Edam, rated 8.6/10 by visitors in a survey in 2016. Check iamsterdam com for ideas! Fireplace NOT in use.

Bijzondere winkeltjes op loopafstand. En niet te vergeten het culinaire aanbod ook van de omliggende plaatsen zoals Volendam, Monnickendam en een pannekoek in Broek. Cultureel uitstapje Amsterdam ? Bicycles for rent available at the house, for a trip trough the country side of Holland. Visit the old fishermans villages Volendam and Marken. At the end of the day return to Edam and enjoy the local restaurants and your appartement
