If you are here as a patient or visitor to Luther Hospital/Mayo Health, the location could not be better. There are many Pubs and Eateries a short distance from the house. The fenced yard and deck railing give an added sense of privacy and security. If you identify as "Tourist" or "Transient" beware the CITY!

The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

Relax in our well appointed house with comfortable furniture throughout each room and a fully equipped kitchen. We maintain a pet free environment to welcome guests with allergies. Just a few minute drive to Mayo and Oak Leaf.

Cozy cabin on Elk Lake

This cozy cabin, perched above a quiet, beautiful lake, with views of soaring pine trees and wildlife is a great place for relaxing next to the warm fireplace, or taking a dip in the cool water. If you're feeling adventurous, consider hiking nearby trails, or enjoying a game, or a laugh with family and friends around the fire pit. The cabin sits about 80 steps (a challenge for some) above Elk Lake. Elk lake is a no wake lake that is great for fishing, kayaking (we have two), and swimming.

Get away from it all! This charming little home is perfectly located on a dead-end street, a short drive to either Menomonie or Eau Claire. Upon arriving, you will feel a sense of calmness and seclusion. Relax to the sounds of the falls and the birds singing. Wander the gardens and play in the spring fed lake. Read a book in the hammock or simply stare at the reflection on the calm lake. We offer a canoe, rowboat, 2 kayaks, and S.U.P for exploring as well as a grill and fire pit area.
