Shared use of shower, wash basins, portaloo, camp kitchen with sink and kettle, tables and chairs. Outside spaces for children to play in and a big sky to watch the clouds drift by, the sun rise and the stars twinkle as you relax

Tibbs Farm: The Gala Getaway

Tibbs Farm, one of three 5m Bell tents set within the heart of our working farm in our old apple orchard. Our picturesque farm to fork cafe is a 10 minute walk from the tents, with hearty breakfasts, tasty lunches, good coffee and homemade cakes waiting. With mains drinking water, private off grid WC and a rustic heated outside shower block. Please note towels are not provided. Our tents are available during the summer period. Please note: we are a working farm with livestock.

Our first flying tent in the trees has been such a hit that we’ve set up a second nearby. Nestled in a tiny pocket of rare Sussex wet woodland, this tent floats above the ground, offering an amazing sense of peace among the foliage. Watch horses graze across the stream, hear steam trains puff up the line, make dinner in your outdoor kitchen and toast marshmallows over the fire pit, before climbing into your floating bed and drifting off to the hoot of owls.

It has its very own log burner and plenty of logs to keep you warm all year round. We also have Barefoot Yurts which accommodates 6 guests.

We’ve added a lovely bell tent for those after a simple, stripped-back camping experience—no gear needed. Just turn up and enjoy an evening under the stars with a fire pit, festoon lights, and nature all around. There’s a proper framed bed with a memory foam mattress, so no roughing it here. While there’s no shower, you’ll have your own toilet. A peaceful, hassle-free night under canvas—with just the right touch of comfort.
