Full of traditional features and close to restaurants and cafes Edinburgh is 30 minutes away by train from East Linton and bus stops to North Berwick, Gullane, Dunbar are a short walk away. Coastal walks and attractions within a few minutes drive. Ideal for families, friends and business guests. Short distance to East Lothian Golf Courses.

Newtonlees Cottage-A hidden gem!

Peaceful and homey self-contained accommodation - a separated annexe to our home. It is on the outskirts of Dunbar but within walking distance (~25 mins). Tucked behind new housing but your back garden is private. We are close to beautiful beaches and golf courses. Fresh milk, butter, cereals, coffee and something to toast are provided. Ideal for exploring the Lothians /Northumbria, or to just chill. Farm track road so please note the lower end of the road is prone to potholes in sections.

In the historic village of Tyninghame, our recently renovated 1 bedroom annexe to our 19th-century family home offers a unique blend of comfort and elegance. Enjoy easy access to the beautiful nearby beaches, pretty villages, world class golf courses and scenic trails. East Linton train station (1.5 miles away) has access to Edinburgh Waverley in 18 minutes. Perfect for a relaxing escape or an active holiday. A car is highly recommended for your stay to make it as enjoyable as possible.

TBWB is a rural off grid eco retreat nestled in the heart of East Lothian, Scotland. This enchanting space is ideal for walkers, couples, and their furry companions. Disconnect from technology and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of nature. Here, you won't find a TV or WiFi, but we offer an extensive collection of books, games, a radio, and even an outdoor bath and new bespoke wood burning sauna for ultimate relaxation. With every booking made we will be planting a tree on the farm.

Beautiful, quaint 16th century cottage, lovingly restored as a dedicated holiday cottage. Located in the heart of an old farm guests can enjoy peace and quiet, beautiful views and owners on site. The cottage has benefited from a complete refurb in 2020 and an enclosed private garden. We sit directly on the river bank and walkway to Haddington and East Linton and a bus link directly into Edinburgh in 45 mins. We are around 15mins drive to the coast and North Berwick.

Whether you want to be active or just relax, Howden Cottage is a great base to enjoy all the delights of East Lothian. If you want a trip to Edinburgh it's about a 45 minute drive or you can drive to the local station - about 8 minutes away and take the train which is 25 minutes. Parking at the station is free.
