Lydford House is ideally situated off the A30 and on Route27 within the tranquil village of Lydford in Dartmoor National Park. Lydford Gorge is a 15-minute walk away. We are 'Eco Friendly' cutting out single use plastics and using local product/suppliers. All our mattresses are handmade locally from Dartmoor wool and our pillows are 100 wool filled. A quite and tranquil place to stay with beautiful gardens and views. The village is well served with 2 pubs within 10 minutes walking distance.

Maes Y Neuadd has been undergoing extensive renovations since 2022 and features a variety of historical rooms which have been lovingly restored, including rooms from the 14th, 16th and 18th Century; featuring original beams, high ceilings and restored Georgian panelling. Being situated within the Snowdonia National Park, Maes Y Neuadd is the perfect base for visiting all the local attractions of North Wales.
