This magical house is at the heart of Dunskey's 2000-acre private Estate, and is surrounded year-round by carpets of bluebells, snowdrops and daffodils. In the summer, a parade of ombre colour rhododendrons provide the most enchanting backdrops. Throughout the autumn and winter, large hydrangeas bushes surrounding the house bring spectacular colours. Originally the dwelling earmarked for the post of the Estate gardener, this spacious house has been meticulously restored to modern standards.

Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. It can be a parkland golf course, mountain bike trails at the 7 stanes, camera obscura, a farmers market, restaurants, children's play parks, hills, rivers, forest walks and much more. Dumfries' museums are also treasure troves for uncovering the local history including Robert Burns.
