Our Bothy is a beautifully restored one-bedroom cosy and welcoming retreat in a peaceful setting, surrounded by an acre of meadow and hills. Just over a mile from the ducal village of Thornhill’s shops, cafés and pubs. Full of original character, it is an immaculate, fully equipped and comfortable base for relaxing, walking and exploring scenic Dumfries and Galloway.

At '235' you will have your own private space to enjoy day or night. The comfortable sofa bed can be made up ready for your arrival or left as a sofa for you to relax. Staying in the centre of town, close to takeaways, a brewery, galleries, shops, park and Carlingwalk Loch. Facilities include a 50" smart tv, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, table and chairs. Free WiFi. On street parking outside the property. Red squirrel, deer, kingfisher, woodpecker, red kite, buzzard and otter are just a few of the local visitors spotted from our garden. Stepford Station Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for nature lovers. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra fee.
