The Conductor's Cottage, escape to Waterval Onder

The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

Hackle Lodge

Two hours from Johannesburg, and one and a half hours from Pretoria, High in the Mpumalanga Mountains. Hackle is quietly situated on a mountain estate that is home to many wild birds and animals. It boasts 4 trout fishing dams. There's a SPA at the hotel. Putt Putt, swimming pool, tennis court, and many more fun things to do. We have about 12 Kms of farm roads before you enter through the big Kloppenheim Hotel estate, which is where we are situated. We have an inverter for load shedding.

Ilanga Game & Fishing Lodge

Ilanga Game and Fishing Lodge is a self-catering lodge located on top of a hill, in Dullstroom Country Estate. Ideal for a family or group looking for comfortable lodging with serene views, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Guests can do bass or trout fishing at the dams, Game drives, bird watching, cycling or just enjoy the stunning view from the house of the country site. There is full cellphone reception at the house. a High rise vehicle is recommended and a 4x4 when wet.

Lakeside 12

Nestled within Critchley Hackle Lodge in Dullstroom, Lakeside 12 offers a retreat for two guests. This cozy unit features a comfortable double bed, a compact kitchenette, a full bathroom, and a welcoming living area that leads out to a private patio. Enjoy access to a communal swimming pool, an on-site restaurant, and a luxurious spa. For adventure seekers, mountain bikes and fishing equipment are available for rent. This magnificent home is perched on a hillside in the desirable Moorhill area of the Highland Gate Golf Estate. It offers stunning views of the valley and surrounding hills. Notably, it is one of the few properties within the estate that features an indoor swimming pool. The house comprises five bedrooms: 4x king bedrooms (two of which have extra-large king beds, all with en-suite bathrooms) and 1x additional overflow bedroom with a queen bed, also with an en-suite bathroom.

The open plan lodge opens out entirely to the expansive outdoor areas & occupies some 270 m². Close by, but importantly separated, deep under the forest canopy, is a well-equipped boma area. The well-appointed bedrooms are strategically scattered a short distance from the lodge.
