The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

The cottage is nestled between two championship golf courses, Waterville Links and Hogs Head. Its prime location offers stunning views of the Skellig Islands and Bay in an area ideal for Walking, Golfing, Fishing, Diving, Riding, wind surfing and many other activities.

Harbour Lights

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property looking out at the Bere Island Lighthouse and Harbour’s Mouth. This is a very quiet and private house on a one- acre property within a 15-minute walking distance to the center of Castletownbere. Entrance is thru a private automatic gate and has a slipway to the sea. This is a beautiful area to go canoeing, fishing, and swimming. Seals can be seen from time to time as can the fishing boats going out to sea.

Shepherds Hut overlooking Kilmackilogue Harbour

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

Each pod has a luxury double bed, dining area and mini kitchen unit, containing a mini fridge and microwave. No cooker. The pods are fully en-suite. The have lots of little special touches to make your experience alot more comfortable. We can only accommodate 2 x adults in each pods, not suitable for families. We do have a strict no animals allowed policy, as we have our own pets and livestock to worry about on-site.

The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water. Situated near Castletownbere, it is an ideal base from which to explore the scenic Beara peninsula .It's a ten minute drive from the Buddhist centre at gurrannes and a twenty minute drive from dursey and ailihes.
