The Garden Flat - Ardullie Lodge

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil historic getaway within a Grade 11 listed building, perfectly located on NC500 route just above the Cromarty Firth. A great base for exploring the highlands. The lodge was visited by the Queen Mother each year for lunch on her way to stay at the Castle of Mey. The Garden Flat is a luxury self contained flat, each bedoom zip and link King size beds which can be seperated into twin beds. A large contained garden, loved by our visitors canine companions.

Go touring, walking, bird-watching, mountain-biking, cycling, kayaking, paddle boarding or fishing in the day then relax on the decking in the evening. With plenty of attractions nearby you can enjoy the best of Sutherland and the North Coast 500 from this quiet, but well connected, location. A variety of dining options are available locally or simply provide for yourselves in the well equipped kitchen area.

Cosy 1 bedroom guest house on NC500

Built in 2023 and finished to a high standard, enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located one bedroom private guest space. Located in the Royal Burgh of Tain, off the A9 & NC500 route, this well equipped space is situated in a family garden with off road parking. The self contained building boasts, a double (UK standard) bedroom, shower room and kitchen/diner/sitting area. Large patio doors lead out to the decked area in the garden. 35 miles north of Highland capital Inverness.

The Hide - off-grid-ish woodland cabin near NC500

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Mid Nov - Mar we have a winter mode as the water can freeze.

Love camping, but looking for something a little more luxurious? Then look no further than Cairn Pod. Situated in a picturesque area of Bonar Bridge Sutherland. Located in the heart of the North Coast 500. (NC500) makes it an ideal accommodation for exploring the Scottish Highlands for a short or long stay. The Armadilla Pod comfortably sleeps two guests which can convert from 2 twin/ 1 double bed. Cairn Pod is equipped to a high standard with private parking and luxury home comforts.

Luxury self-catering log cabin at Assich Zen Lodge

Sleeping 2-4 people, (2 Adults & 2 Children under 16) or 3 adults, our spacious bespoke pods have been designed with modern luxury. They are built to a high specification using sustainably sourced timber. The outdoor seating is the perfect place to relax in the tranquil surroundings after a day of exploring the local area. Located nearby are several woodland walks and forest trails.

Close by local amenities are available in the towns of Alness and Invergordon a short 10 minute drive away (shops, restaurants, leisure centre, golf course, fishing etc). We are also a 25 minute drive from Inverness. This brand new dog friendly (maximum 2 dogs) location with outdoor space has quiet forestry walks on the doorstep.

One bedroom apartment in Dornoch, Scotland

With views to the Dornoch Firth this light and airy, self-contained, one bed apartment is situated in a quiet and leafy no-through road serving a small number of residential properties. The centre of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a ten minute walk. The expanse of sandy beach and dunes is approximately, a fifteen minute walk. It is perfectly situated as a pit-stop for the NC500 or as a base to enjoy the hills, glens and coastline.

Whisky - Pods on the Croft

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.

Quirky Highland Cottage with Stunning Views

Enjoy the glorious Highland scenery and sample the local whiskies from this quirky little stone built cottage. Set across the road from a working farm, you'll be able to enjoy seeing the livestock grazing against the glorious backdrop of the Kyle of Sutherland. The cottage itself is over 100 years old and retains many of its original features - the panelling, doors, fireplaces and fixtures, giving a timewarp sensation to your stay.
