A paradise in the woods, a place to connect with nature. Sit in tranquility with the living creatures near the lake. No wifi, we have NATURE. Along the path there is a seperate building which houses the toilet and a different building for shower. Treehouse comfortable for two. Fire pit located close to the lake and a trail that goes to the kayak and the raft. Relax on our Bali inspired swing. Sunbath on the wharf SHARED-Two person kayak and raft. Shower disabled in the cold winter mths.

A quiet paradise in the woods. A great place to connect with nature and relax. There is a 2 person kayak that are shared with our other treehouse guests and a single person kayak. Life jackets supplied. (2 adults and 3 children) Also a raft that goes out into lake on a cable for swimming. We have a 2 person swing to relax on in the sun. Wifi arriving soon. Welcome to The Boathouse! Conveniently located in the Municipality of Barrington, known as the Lobster Capital of Canada. Unwind at this uniquely built, rustic cabin situated next to the ocean. At high tide, you will wake up to the sound of waves splashing beneath your window. Enjoy the beautiful views from the outside decks or take a kayak and explore. The wildlife is all around. When night falls sit back and relax at the fire pit as you look out on the ocean. Enjoy your stay!

The Tower Cabin at Tillys Head -a Place to Dream

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. The tower at Tillys Head is a unique structure built off grid high on a cliff on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Anyone who is looking for a place to unwind and leave the real world behind for a while will fall in love with this special place.Be aware that this is a rustic cabin, not a luxury accommodation. A 10 min walk through the woods is required to get from the parking lot to the cabin.

Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

The Owl's Nest Wilderness Cottage

Come experience farm life for yourself and stay at The Owl’s Nest Wilderness Cottage – our private, off grid retreat that boasts open pastures, wildlife and a warm Nova Scotia welcome! In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a small lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We are rural, although not remote. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!
